Welcome!
CYO is a string orchestra comprised of advanced level, high school musicians. The orchestra's mission is to provide music through community service. CYO offers its members the opportunity to share their passion of music with others by performing in hospitals, senior citizen centers and residences.
CYO selects students by audition from the following towns: Acton, Arlington, Bedford, Belmont, Boston, Boxborough, Brookline, Cambridge, Carlisle, Chelmsford, Concord, Lexington, Lincoln, Medford, Needham, Somerville, Waltham, Weston, Winchester and Woburn. Weekly rehearsals are held in the state-of-the-art Palandjian Arts Center at Belmont Day School, located at 55 School Lane in Belmont, MA. Various performances are scheduled throughout the season.
