Sight reading will be comparable to orchestra repertoire. Repertory Orchestra Violins- scales C, G, D A (2 octaves) and F, Bb (1 octave) Violas and Cellos- scales C, D, F (2 octaves) and G, A, Bb (1 octave) Basses- scales C, G, D, F, Bb (1 octave) Percussion- snare solo and/or mallet solo Advanced Orchestra Violins, violas and cellos- all major scales and relative harmonic minor scales Basses- scales E, D, A, F, Bb, Eb Woodwinds- all major scales Brass- all major scales Percussion- snare solo and/or mallet solo, timpani experience 2008-2009 Season Semester I- Sept. 2008- Dec. 2008 Semester I Final Payment Due Aug. 1, 2008 Semester II- Jan. 2009- May 2009 Semester II Payment in full Due Jan. 2, 2009 Tuition All Orchestras $240 per semester Deposit of $140 due upon acceptance Advanced Chamber Ensemble $110 per semester Students must also be enrolled in Advanced Orchestra Scholarships are available for qualified students.
